The Upcoming 2025 BMW X3 will come out soon, as we all knew, One of the most well-liked crossovers produced by the Munich-based manufacturer is the BMW X3. The X3, which debuted in 2003, is getting ready for a new generation later this year. The fourth generation of the BMW X3 will be introduced in 2025 and will be denoted by the chassis code G45. It will come with significant design and technological upgrades.
2025 BMW X3 New Exterior
The G45 X3 may not initially share some design aspects with the majority of future BMW vehicles, even though they will all be built on either the CLAR or NCAR (Neue Klasse architecture). Though it is still based on the adaptable CLAR chassis, the G45 BMW X3 will include some significant external and interior design enhancements. With new headlights and a reworked kidney grille, the 2025 BMW X3’s exterior design will offer it a fresh look, albeit being more of an evolution of the current one.
To create a unified family appearance, the new headlights will closely resemble the design found on the most recent BMW 5 Series, X1, and X2 vehicles. Thus, anticipate two LEDs arranged in an L-shape within a stylish glass enclosure. In addition, the recognizable kidney grille will maintain its traditional proportions, eschewing the bigger grille trend observed in other BMW models. Nobody will be surprised by the design of the taillights either, which consist of two parallel light bars that extend into the trunk and an X motif that wraps around the fenders.
As one might anticipate from a crossover, there is also a tailgate and a roof spoiler. Naturally, flushing door handles will be utilized, just like with all new BMW models. Just one new development? Like the recently introduced BMW X1 M35i and X2 M35i, the top model BMW X5 M50 will include quad-pipes.
Interior Improvement & Features
The interior design of the 2025 BMW X3 adheres to the present design language because production of the vehicle begins a year before the Neue Klasse debut. The G45 X3’s iDrive 9 will power the device’s huge curved display, a feature that is now standard on other BMW vehicles. The Android Automotive OS is used by the infotainment system.
A toggle switch will be used in place of the conventional gear shift knob. Thankfully, the iDrive knob dial is still present. The flat-bottomed steering wheel seen on the 5 Series and i5 vehicles will also be included on the 2025 BMW X3. It is unlikely that the remaining interior will see any significant changes from the present models.
2025 BMW X3 Engine Options
A variety of powertrain options will be available for the 2025 BMW X3, ranging from the X3 20d or X3 30 gasoline variants to the plug-in hybrid X3 30e. Also anticipated is a BMW X3 40d diesel. Naturally, not every engine variation will be available in the US, particularly the diesel and entry-level gasoline vehicles.
The 2025 BMW X3 M50 will be the top model. Take note of how the letter “i,” which formerly stood for fuel-injected engines, has disappeared. As we’ve seen on recent models, the “i” will now only serve as an identifier for electric BMWs. The B58 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine, producing 382 horsepower, will continue to power the M Performance Model (2025 BMW X3 M50) when combined with a mild hybrid system.

According to the news reports, The 2025 model of BMW X3 will be unveiled by mid-summer this year. Production of the G45 BMW X3 will begin at the Spartanburg Plant in fall 2024.
